“Having taught children of most ages during my 38 year career, I was most impressed with this book. For the age groups it is aimed at, the story is an important one. It is simply put for young children to understand and interestingly devised to keep their attention. Important information is revisited throughout the story and interaction in involved and invited. The illustrations are clear and help emphasise the points in the story. Even for pre-readers, the illustrations would enable these children to re-tell what is happening.. Not just a book for the classroom. Parents could use this book to get this important message across to their children. I look forward to reading more about Community Cop Colin in the future.”
